Many people who decide to buy electric cars have some advantages. One of these is the exemption or reduction of the payment of the stamp duty. In some Italian Regions the exemption is total, while in others only for five years.
The world of four wheels has increasingly entered the electric field. Today more and more people, when they decide to change their car, turn to electric.
This is because car manufacturers have also evolved: many of them, in fact, in the coming years, will offer only hybrid and electric cars on the market. All this to pollute our planet less and less and reduce air and noise pollution.
Furthermore, for those who decide to buy electric or hybrid cars, there are several advantages. One of these is the savings on car tax.
Let’s see which are the most advantaged Italian Regions.
Inexpensive insurance and free car tax: here are the lucky Italian regions
Today the world of cars is increasingly projected towards the future, towards the electric field. In fact, for all those people who decide to buy an electric car, there are many advantages, or rather incentives, because this choice helps the planet to survive.
But what are these incentives? Definitely a huge savings on road tax and insurance. But also the possibility of parking for free on the blue lines, or having a completely free entrance to the ZTL areas. In Italy there are, however, differences between one region and another. Because for some there is total exemption, for others a partial exemption.
For example in regions such as Valle D’Aosta, Liguria, Veneto, Trento, Bolzano, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia, all two, three or four-wheeled vehicles do not pay car tax for the next five years from the date of registration. Once this time has elapsed, a sum corresponding to a quarter of the value envisaged for the corresponding petrol engines must be paid. However, this is only for cars. Motorcycles and mopeds, on the other hand, must pay the fee in full. However, for those who own hybrid cars, there is no reduction or exemption. StOnly the regions of Piedmont and Lombardy will have a lifetime (or permanent) exemption with regard to the payment of car tax for electric vehicles. Instead, as regards hybrid cars, there will be a reduction of half for the following five years from the moment of registration, on the stamp duty.
