Vice President Kamala Harris has taken the stage at an outdoor rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and continues to raise the tone of her criticism of Donald Trump. This time he questioned the state of health of the former president who has opposed participating in more debates and canceled several interviews last week, one with CNBC and another with CBS.

“His own campaign team has recently said that (the cancellations) are due to exhaustion. Well, if you are exhausted while campaigning, it raises real questions about whether you are fit for the hardest job in the world,” he said. Before going on stage he had already introduced the topic with the press: “If you are exhausted campaigning, are you in a position to do the job? I think that is an open question that needs to be answered.”

From the State that is home to three of the most important automobile factories in the country, Harris pointed out that six of these closed during Trump’s presidency, and stressed that his economic plan seeks for the United States, and not China, to win the trade battle. in this century.

The Democrat also reminded those present that next October 26 will be the first day of early voting in the State and urged those present to assert their voice in this election. She was also emphatic in questioning the immunity granted by the Supreme Court to Trump during his stay in the White House and the consequences it could have for the country if he is re-elected in November.

“Imagine Donald Trump without guardrails. Imagine someone who has sworn to be a dictator from day one, who calls Americans who disagree with him ‘the enemy from within’. Do you know where that language comes from? He says that the army would use to persecute them, American citizens,” he warned.

Before leaving the stage, the candidate said that no one who has spoken about the end of the United States Constitution—as Trump, in fact, did—deserves to be president of the country again. “Never again,” he concluded.
