Elections in Denmark – Referred to as gender issues

COPENHAGEN (Dagbladet): The Danes will elect a new government tomorrow. 14 parties are fighting for 90 terms in Folketing and the result is open.

Prime Minister Frederiksen (S) wants a non-traditional coalition government beyond the borders of the bloc.

The two major bourgeois parties have rejected the idea, but Frederiksen can still succeed thanks to the joker Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

Sex on the menu

The newly formed bourgeois party Moderates, led by Rasmussen, opened up to form a government with Fredriksen’s Social Democrats.

But first we need to clarify important issues. Sex, intelligence, and duvet lifting are now on the list of such questions in Denmark.

For Danish party leaders they received confidential information that a former senior in the intelligence services loves SM sex (sadomasochistic sex), according to BT.

According to the report, these sexual preferences could make the man subject to blackmail by foreign powers.

Danish intelligence then raised the alarm itself about the man’s sexual preferences and informed Danish politicians in the Folketing. One had to be open about these things, he told himself.

I don’t like SM

Now Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen also has to answer if she has a penchant for hairspray, leather and whips in the bedroom, as they could make her vulnerable to blackmail, according to Danish intelligence.

– Do you enjoy SM sex? BT’s political commentator Joachim B. Olsen asks the Prime Minister.

– SM sex? I have to say that this question has never been asked of me before, Mette Frederiksen bursts.

A slightly surprised Frederiksen finally manages to answer the question.

– I think this is something my husband and I need to be able to say no to, she says.

– So the answer is no?

– The answer is no. It’s a strange question to ask a prime minister, says Fredriksen.

Democratic control

The Prime Minister adds that she would not immediately report to Danish intelligence if she was genuinely fond of sadomasochistic sex, which is not to a significant extent.

Frederiksen argues that the sex life of politicians is a matter for intelligence itself to decide whether it is relevant or not.

– Basically, it is not us politicians who have to say anything about what Danish intelligence should ask of us. But obviously there must be democratic control over intelligence, he says.

It could be a long election night

His party becomes the largest in the country. On the average of the measurements, Mette Frederiksen and companions are supported. 26 percent of Danes.

But that doesn’t mean he can continue his work. Election night can be long and painful for the prime minister.
