Resolutions N ° 00022-2021-JEE-LIC2 / JNE and N ° 00020-2021-JEE-LIC2 / JNE provide in both cases that the appeals are not approved because “It has not been complied with attaching the corresponding electoral fee”, which is an essential requirement for the presentation of this legal resource.

Both documents state that the political groups have only one business day to correct the observation and register their applicants. In the case of UPP, there are 20 candidates to be formalized, while in JPP there are 3 candidates for a seat.

As stated in the resolution N 0412-2020-JNE, The appeal against the resolution of the Special Electoral Jury that denies the registration of candidate or candidates for congressmen of the Republic must be accompanied by the payment of an electoral fee that amounts to 25% of a tax unit (UIT).
