Election results in Austria, the reactions of Tajani and Lega

While in Austria the official results of the parliamentary elections confirm the victory of the far right of the Fpoe, in Italy the Italian majority is divided on the party of Herbert Kickl who promised to “orbanize” Vienna.

Their concept of free elections is strange. Here it is, the ‘World in reverse’: they accuse everyone of fascism, but they are the real anti-democratic, intolerant and discriminatory ones.” The governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia is more sober, Massimiliano Fedriga: “I think it is always wrong to enter into the democratic processes of other countries, so I look at them but I don’t comment on them”.

The “Rossobruno” also intervenes Gianni Alemanno: “Not everything is perfect: there are also things that we don’t like in their program, but it is yet another indication that a strong sovereignist wind is blowing throughout Europe.”

“I believe that in Austria we need a popularly led form of government that excludes the Freedom Party (FPOE) – Tajani’s words –. Political battles are always won at the center to prevent extremists of the right and left from doing damage.” “The far right alone is never able to win, we saw it in France,” explained the minister.
