This is what is foreseen for the first vote for the election of the President of the Republic scheduled for 15, after the death of the Forza Italia deputy Enzo Fasano. From tomorrow the plenum should return to 1009 and the quorum of two thirds to 673, as soon as the Election Committee first and then the Chamber, to be convened with a special session, have proclaimed the election of the incoming Maria Rosa Sessa. This is what emerged from the joint conference of the group leaders of the Chamber and Senate. The duration of the scrutiny and counting will be approximately six hours. There are three cabins in the hemicycle. 50 voters will enter at a time, while 200 parliamentarians will be admitted to the Chamber during the counting operations, established the Presidency of the Chamber and the Senate Presidency Council. For now they are closed but at 15, punctual with the start of the session in the classroom, the gates of the parking lot of the Chamber will also open, where the polling stations have been set up for the vote of the large voters positive for Covid or in a state of quarantine, which currently, according to the latest ‘census’, there are 14.
