An elderly woman was seriously injured by a fallen tree on Friday afternoon. That happened on the Bezuidenhout in Boekel. While she was walking, a tree blown over and fell on top of her. The woman was taken to hospital with multiple fractures.
The fire brigade, police, ambulances and a trauma helicopter came to the scene of the accident. The fire service rescued the woman. The Bezuidenhout in Boekel is closed.
