Jakarta –
An elderly woman from Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, disappeared for about two months and was found by residents on the edge of a forest in Pekalongan Regency. The grandmother named Asmah admitted that she did not remember the first time she left her house in Jakarta.
“I don’t know, suddenly it was in the mountains (Pekalongan forest area),” he said, when met at the Kesesi Hospital, reported detikJateng Wednesday (7/6/2023).
Asmah admits that she is tired of traveling alone. Until now the cause of the missing grandmother is still a mystery.
“I don’t want to go anywhere, just stay at home. I don’t want to go out anymore,” said Asmah with a typical Betawi accent.
Residents and police evacuated Asmah on Sunday (4/6). Then, Asmah was treated at the Kesesi Hospital for three days. He was then picked up by his son, Ayi (50) and his brother.
Ayi learned of her mother’s whereabouts in Pekalongan after the head of the RT where she lived received news from the police. Now Asmah with Ayi and her brother are escorted back to Jakarta.
