Elderly man stabbed in Brooklyn subway station

Police authorities are investigating a stabbing in the subway that injured a 77-year-old subject.

According to the police officer, on Sunday morning, the attacker stabbed his victim in the leg – without apparent provocation – while they were in a car on the A line of the subway, near the Utica Avenue station.

The victim got off at the Nostrand Avenue stop in Brooklyn, where he received medical attention and was taken to the hospital.

He is expected to recover.

So far no arrests have been made.
