The New York Police are on the trail of three suspects who, aboard scooters, attacked and robbed a 76-year-old man in the Bronx.
According to the authorities’ report, they approached the victim between Webb Avenue and Sedgwick Avenue, in University Heights, during the early hours of Sunday. Allegedly, one of them severely hit the victim, who fell to the ground.
Without the possibility of defending themselves, the other two suspects emptied their pockets and took a phone that they then threw against the sidewalk so that it broke and could not call for help.
Minutes later, the man was treated at the same place as the attack. He had a cut on his head, however, it is hoped that he can recover.
Public surveillance cameras captured the three suspects, who fled down West Fordham Road. The Police published the images and asks for citizen collaboration to capture them.
