Pensioners beaten and robbed in the middle of Dresden
Unknown people hit a 72-year-old in Dresden on the back of the head and stole his wallet – a short time later, money was withdrawn from the victim’s account.

Dresden. It happened in the middle of downtown Dresden: two perpetrators targeted the 72-year-old on Marienstrasse, at the passage to Strasse am See. There is also a retirement home nearby. It is unclear whether the perpetrators specifically spied on their victim.
One hit the senior citizen on the back of the head, the other stole the man’s cloth bag. Then they both disappeared.
The bag contained the victim’s wallet, including personal documents and two cash cards.
Before the man could block his cards, two debits were made from the account totaling 1,500 euros.
The attack happened on Thursday around 5:30 p.m. and the police are investigating.
