An elderly couple, both 75 years old, was stabbed to death inside their own home in Brooklyn. According to the NYPD, the main suspect is a 46-year-old son, who is now in custody.
The bodies were found with fatal injuries on Saturday night in a Borough Park apartment. Later, the death of the couple was declared at the Maimónides Hospital.
Authorities informed local media that the son stabbed his own parents inside the house.
Neighbors reported hearing screams coming from the apartment, which is why they called 911. They also witnessed alleged threats the suspect made to police officers.
The Borough Park community is shocked by the couple’s death, as the NYPD continues to investigate what happened.
