Elderly couple eat ‘delicious’ pâté, turns out to be cat food | Abroad

Since the corona crisis, the woman has regularly been shopping for her parents. She usually separates the pet food from the other items, but apparently that hadn’t worked out quite well. “We cried with laughter,” the daughter tells Metro UK.

When she came to visit her parents again, her mother said that they had a ‘delicious dinner with bread and pate’. The woman soon realized that a mistake had been made and her parents had eaten a sandwich with cat food. Her mother could laugh about it, but her stepfather was especially baffled. “Are you trying to poison me,” said the man.

The elderly couple had not noticed the cat in the background of the can of pate. Both have not become ill.
