She continued to take painkillers, but she reached a point where they were no longer of benefit to her, so we took her to the doctor, where he conducted the necessary tests and x-rays for her, revealing a small cancerous tumor in her bones, which required keeping her in the hospital to receive some treatments and painkillers to relieve her pain. Her health condition gradually improved, and the doctor allowed her to leave the hospital, but her health deteriorated and the costs of treatment increased to the point where she became unable to pay the medical bills, with the expiration of her health insurance card. He added: “My health condition is also getting worse, along with my wife’s, as I suffer from heart, diabetes and blood pressure problems, and I constantly need treatments and medications at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain.”
He continued: “Currently, we cannot continue receiving our treatments, because I am unemployed due to old age, in addition to the fact that all of my children do not work.” The husband continued: “My wife and I cannot complete the treatment without renewing the health insurance, as we both need 26,250 dirhams to renew the health insurance card, so that we can continue receiving our treatments.” He added: “I was an employee with a salary of 3,000 dirhams, but today I am without work, due to my old age, and I am responsible for a family consisting of five individuals, in addition to my wife, and I receive some financial assistance from one of my relatives, which is barely enough assistance to meet our living requirements.” The husband appeals to good people and helpful people to extend a helping hand to them and help them arrange the amount to renew their health insurance card, so that they can continue receiving treatment.
