Elderly Businessman Found Murdered in Mylaprai – Suspected Robbery Gone Wrong

Pathanamthitta ∙ An elderly businessman was found murdered inside his business in Mylaprai. The body was found with a cloth in its mouth and its hands and feet tied to a chair. The deceased is George Unnuni (73), who runs a store in Pudhuvel selling mountain goods and agricultural implements at Mylapra Post Office Junction.

George is the father of the secretary of Mylapra Bank. The CCTV hard disk of the institution has gone missing. The police said that it is suspected to be a murder during an attempted robbery. George used to close the shop at six o’clock every day. He was found dead when his grandson came to call him home.
