(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kang Ae-ran = Senior movie star Lee Moo-jung passed away. 80 years old.
According to the Korean Film Actors Association on the 24th, Lee Moo-jung, who was fighting cancer, passed away on this day.
The deceased debuted with the movie’Busan Seagull’ in 1980 and has been active in the 80s and 90s. He appeared in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd episodes of the movie’Pongon’ and made his face known.
His main appearances include’When the Night Falls’ (1982),’The Seagull of Passion’ (1983),’Human Trafficking’ (1989),’Let’s Live’ (1993),’Apply Lipstick Darkly’ (1996), ‘ There are Bully Class 2′(1999).
The deceased received a special acting award for’The Game of Truth’ at the 8th Chunsa Film Festival in 2000, and the following year, he received a special acting award at the 48th Daejong Awards.
The mortuary was prepared in Room 6 of the funeral hall of Chung-Ang University Hospital, and the origin is 9 am on the 26th.
