The Fly Swarm on Elden Ring is a good bleeding incantation that can help you during your adventure in the Underworld, or even in PvP. In this guide, you can find the position of this spell.
Where to find the Swarm of Flies?
The Swarm of Flies hides within Mohgwyn’s Palace. This is an area that is found relatively late in the game and is one of the last optional areas in the game. You have two options for reaching the palace:
- Follow Varré’s quest
- Take the Consecrated Snowfields Teleporter
The two paths are quite simple, especially for the Varré quest which does not require having discovered the second part of the Cimes des Géants. While the teleporter is fairly late in the game, Varré’s quest will be the quickest option, but requires invading players in PvP.
The Fly Swarm’s position within Moghwyn Palace
The incantation is in a small cave within the bloody lake. Starting from the site of grace “Corniche leading to the palace” go down the slope until you arrive at the pool of blood. Continuing north, you’ll come across two caves on your right. It is within the second cave that you will be able to find the incantation, it will be held by a corpse at the bottom of it.

The Swarm of Flies in detail
This incantation releases a swarm of blood bugs in front of you, dealing damage and building up bleeding on enemies. The added bonus of this spell is that you can cast it while moving. If you have a build that focuses on Faith and Esotericism, Fly Swarm will be of great use to you.
The spell only costs 14 CP and requires the following attributes to be used: Faith (11) and Esotericism (16).
