Elden Ring: every third platinum PlayStation player; Malenia gives a hard time

And, Elden Ring. Here I could insert a table and finish, because the numbers speak for themselves. However, let’s take a closer look at them – for the third time, and what – because you simply cannot pass by the fact that in a month and a half from the premiere over 33% of PlayStation players has won “Platinum” (complete 42 achievements) in the studio’s newest game FromSoftware.

This information is all the more noteworthy that Elden Ring production is quite difficult – maybe not as much as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne if the first “Souls”, but it can give you a hard time. It is also quite long. Service data HowLongToBeat.com indicate that It takes the average player around 50 hours to reach one of the three endings. Doing everything – from 117 to 122 laps of the clock.

For comparison – released a week earlier relatively easy and half shorter Horizon Forbidden West (need approx. 27 hours to complete it, and approx. 85 hours to be able to boast of “platinum”) left “Maxed” by 35.43% of PlayStation players. Compared to other FromSoftware games (data from which I have recalled the last time) the result achieved by Elden Ring also impressive.

The results of Steam users are somewhat less delighted. This may be due to the fact that on the PC sold out so far the most copies of the new game by Hidetaka Miyazaki and co – at least in the European Union. Full data on endings is presented in the table below.

What about bosses? Which of them hit the players the most? On PC – Drakolicz Fortissax, which for now beat “Only” 22.2% of Steam users. As for PlayStation, it is ruled by the “boss”, namely Malenia, the Blade of Miquellainvincible fencing, considered by many people to be the most difficult opponent in Elden Ring.

GIT GOD?

Both Drakolicz Fortissax and Malenia are optional bosses – meaning you don’t have to defeat them to finish the game. Nevertheless, many people still challenge them.

Why is Malenia so infamous? There are several reasons. First of all, the lady boss is very well hidden and the way to it is dangerous. Secondly, Malenia is quite a nasty opponent, because every blow she deals not only takes our lives, but also heals her. Third and finally, the fight against it has two phases. But all of this makes success taste all the better, right?

It is also worth paying attention to how The percentages of individual achievements have increased significantly – in some cases even by more than 30 percentage points (pp.) compared to the data from about a month ago. PlayStation players still have a sizable advantage over Steam users, but most importantly, everyone passes Elden Ring at their own pace – and having fun.

Such was finally, the goal of FromSoftware. Create “Soulsy” for everyone. Has it succeeded? Well if Margita i Godricka on average defeats 7-8 out of 10 players, I suppose you can say yes. Here, no one is left out of the run as in clashes with Father Gascoigne w Bloodborne if Genichiro Ashiną w Ax. Anyway, see for yourself.
