Elden Ring contains unused files that may indicate ‘bestiary’ – Gaming – News

I was completely new to this type of game and although the entry was not entirely smooth, this game is truly a unique experience. You may have to wonder why this game is so bizarrely popular despite its many “flaws”.

This game takes you back to a time where you don’t get flooded with HUD elements, but instead just explore the world. You don’t miss the quest markers. Even if you have no idea what you’re doing, you can always just ask various NPCs what the goal is, and they’ll always give you some hint or direction. Don’t you, and just go and explore blindly? Then you’ll get there.

Elden Ring is not about the destination, or completing quests. Quest markers are irrelevant, because you can ignore all quests completely. If you just walk around and explore every building and cave, you’ll pass everywhere and you won’t miss a thing. Many quests are “go to this cave” or “go to this building and do this”. However, if you just go to that cave without the “quest” on your own, you’ll get your “quest” too.

Elden Ring can just as easily be seen as a big sandbox with 1000 bosses that at first are bizarrely difficult and seem impossible, and after a bit of exploring and experimenting with other weapons/skills suddenly become very easy. You are completely free in this game to run straight to various story bosses and get canned, or defeat them if you have speedrun skills. You just can’t do that and collect all kinds of junk and beat the bosses with way too strong weapons.

Even after upgrading your weapons you are still very vulnerable. If you don’t respect your surroundings, you will still die from a group of rats, or a few simple “zombies”.
