The worst game for Córdoba CF in a long time. They had no rhythm, no accuracy, no fluidity. They had practically no chances against a superior Elche CF from the start of the match. Numerous defensive errors and many difficulties in connecting the midfield with the forward line have caused the Blanquiverdes to fall in a resounding way in their visit to Martínez Valero. A more than delicate situation at the start of this season in LaLiga Hypermotion.
Much to improve for salvation
Carlos Marin: 6
He conceded three goals, although there could have been several more for his team. Once again, he was the savior in several actions that would have easily brought Elche CF’s goal tally close to five. He even stopped one of the two penalties that were taken against him.
Mati Barboza: 3
He was very inconsistent in his first match as a starter in LaLiga Hypermotion. The duo he formed with Marvel never found a solid partnership. He caused the penalty that made it 2-0.
Marvel: 5
He was the most outstanding player in the entire Córdoba CF defence. He cleared practically all the balls that came to him, although it was clear that he lacked communication and automatism with his new teammates.
Calderón: 2
His worst game, without a doubt, in the Córdoba CF shirt. He was overwhelmed at all times by both Josan and Nico. He caused the first penalty, although Marín saved it, and was unsuccessful in both the first goal and the third for Elche CF.
Albarran: 4.5
He was far from the physical torrent he is used to being. He tried his best in defence and was incisive in attack, but he was not sharp on either side.
Alex Sala: 5
He was booked early on and that affected him throughout the first half. He was confident and showed his physicality, although his play lacked fluidity.
Genaro: 4
He was not very active in the centre of the field. He did not show much association and did not find the solidity to sustain Córdoba CF’s play. He also received a yellow card which affected him.
Carracedo: 4.5
Less of a protagonist than usual. He received very few balls and hardly had the chance to look for verticality or crosses into the area. He was substituted at half-time.
Jacobo: 5
From more to less. He was one of the players who tried the most to score in the Cordoba ranks. He had several dangerous long-range shots at his disposal, but always with opposition.
Adilson: 4
Less vertical than usual. Perhaps playing with a mask affected him, but he only had three or four opportunities in which he was able to face with relative ease. When his physical condition affected him, he practically disappeared.
Antonio Casas: 5.5
A lot of effort and little success. Even so, he scored the 1-1 that ended up being ruled out for offside and scored the 3-1 to make up for the result. He fought with everyone he met along the way.
Ander Yoldi: 4
Once again, he was given the role of substitute. He changed the rhythm of Córdoba CF for a few minutes, and was close to scoring on more than one occasion. With only a few minutes, he is calling for a place in the starting eleven.
Theo Zidane: 4
He managed to maintain more solidity in the Córdoba CF midfield with his departure and gave some fluidity to the game. But he had little rhythm and lacked deployment in open fields.
Obolskii: 4
He fought for the ball when the most generous thing that came to him was a melon from the defense. He lacks bite in front of goal.
Xavi Sintes: 3
He came out with the game already broken and with the objective of recovering the midfield. He had little impact on the game.
Carlos Isaac: 4
Focused on attack. Almost all the balls came to him in the final stretch. He looked for verticality and made some dangerous crosses. More effort than accuracy.

It was probably the most inconsistent game since he arrived at Córdoba CF. The initial approach did not work out and he did not make the right changes either. He has not experienced such a complex situation within the club since the beginning of last season.
