The reason for the return is the celebration of the seventies of the two founders of the band, singer and bassist Jož Ráž and singer and keyboardist Vaša Patejdl. Advance ticket sales for both concerts began on Tuesday evening on the website of the band Elán. The band’s most famous songs will be played at the concerts. There are no further performances planned at the moment.
Elán last gave a concert in 2018, when he ended his Czechoslovak indoor and open air tour in the sold-out Prague O2 arena. Ráž then declared that he wanted to end up at the peak of fame, but admitted that he could still make an exceptional appearance with the musicians.
The group was formed in 1968. They released fifteen studio albums, five English albums and several compilations, for the sales of which they received twenty-five platinum records.
