Sister of late Donald Benninger, Carl Benninger (Jean) and Gloria Wunder (late Tom).
Cherished grandmother of Mark Buchholtz, Patrick Buchholtz (Kyla), Adam Buchholtz (Marie), Angela Kroetsch (Dean), Andrew Kroetsch (Heather), Meghan Kroetsch (Kevin), Jennifer MacIver (Ian), Christopher Eulenberg (Jessie).
Great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren.
Passionate cook and baker, avid gardener, she loved to travel, especially cruising and she never met a chocolate she didn’t like.
Elaine’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25th, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, 519-749-8467. A Prayer Service to begin at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 26th, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 56 Duke Street West, Kitchener. Burial will take place at Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow at The Knights of Columbus, 797 Guelph Street..
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s Church Tiny Home Takeout or St. Mary’s Hospital MRI Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
