El Universal’s first correspondent in Nueva Esparta died

New Sparta.- The Nueva Esparta sectional National College of Journalists reported this Saturday on the physical disappearance of journalist Héctor Cardozo Flores, who was the first correspondent for the newspaper El Universal in the island region.

The union expressed its sorrow and admiration for who was a whole school of journalism, very prominent for many years in the field of radio broadcasting.

He held important journalistic correspondents as an announcer for La Voz de América, BBC London and Radio France International, in addition to his long-term performance for the newspaper “El Universal”.

“With Héctor, we lose a man of great value in the radio and in journalism,” said Hernán Marín, director of the radio Super Stereo 98.1, where Cardozo made several programs that won a large audience.

“Today a distinguished man rested in peace, bearer of virtue and intelligence at the ready, Don Héctor Cardozo Flores, a fundamental character in sharp thinking, great music lover, passionate about history, culture and languages, about sports , philosophy and the arts ”, also recalled one of his radio colleagues, Marco Antonio Delgado.

Indeed, the communicator leaves a great mark on the island of Margarita, which, although it was not his native land, contributed to him as such, and that is why journalists and media users say goodbye to him with love and pride.
