In this, he reveals that the former head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, continues to lead the preference with 34 percent, 12 points above Marcelo Ebrard, who has 22 points. In the case of Adán Augusto López and Gerardo Fernández Noroña, they remain with 8 percent, while licensed legislators Ricardo Monreal and Manuel Velasco have 6 percent in preference.

For his part, former Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, when leaving for Monterrey as part of his political promotion tour, announced that he had seen the EL UNIVERSAL poll and remarked that “in the election of the State of Mexico he was wrong by more than 10 points.”

In his message, he described the publication as “pure propaganda” and considered that it does not have credibility. At the end, Ebrard warned “Smile, everything will be fine”, his slogan for his presidential aspiration.

Likewise, Claudia Sheinbaum, without referring to the EL UNIVERSAL survey, in an event she held in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, assured that “Mexico has already changed, and it is time for women”, detailing that she is at the top of the survey.
“Some wonder, because there are 5 men and one woman, they wonder: How is it that a woman is up in the polls? Well, Mexico has already changed, it is time for women,” he asserted.
