A poll published by the newspaper El Universal gives a technical tie in the intention to vote for the election of Governor of Sinaloa.

The result of this study shows a difference of just four percentage points between the leader, Rubén Rocha Moya, from Morena and the PAS, and Mario Zamora Gastélum, from the Va por Sinaloa alliance.

According to the results, Rocha Moya manages to obtain 39 percent of the intention to vote in the entity, against 35 percent who favor Zamora Gastélum.

Further away are Sergio Torres Félix from Movimiento Ciudadano, with 4 percent of electoral preferences and with 1 percent, Gloria González from the PT, Tomás Saucedo from Verde Ecologista, and Rosa Elena Millán, from Fuerza por México.

In this survey, in which an exercise was carried out simulating voting with a ballot and ballot box, 19 percent of those surveyed said they did not know who they would vote for or preferred not to answer.

For this exercise, a thousand effective interviews were applied in different electoral sections of the entity from May 8 to 11, with a confidence level of 95 percent and a margin of error of 3.3 percent.

The method of collecting electoral preferences in Sinaloa, they explain, was with a face-to-face interview supported by a validated questionnaire.

In addition to talking about electoral preferences for June 6, respondents mentioned, for example, the entity’s main problems.

Among them, the pandemic occupies the first place in mention, followed by insecurity, robberies and assaults, gangs, violence and the economic crisis, among others.

In addition, it reveals that 53 percent of those surveyed consider that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has the capacity to give the results that Mexico needs, against 41 percent who consider that he will be exceeded.

In addition, 56 percent considered that Sinaloa is on the right track, against 38 percent who say that it is on the wrong track.
