“When she arrives, you must shoot her. » Altered Innocence has revealed the American trailer for a French sci-fi film titled After Blue (Dirty Paradise), which premiered at the 2021 Locarno Film Festival. It has also performed at the Toronto Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Beyond Fest and Busan. Everything looks fascinating. A chimerical future on After Blue, a planet in another galaxy, a virgin planet where only women can survive among harmless flora and fauna. The story follows a punitive expedition to the planet. “Seductive, ethereal, bizarre… A kaleidoscopic fantasy twisted through the lens of a 1970s sci-fi western, After the blue is a synthetic siren for monsters of the future and the past,” says one review. The PR folks add, “The most recent view of Bertrand Mandico (wild boys) plays like a lesbian The Topo (in space!) with great practical effects built into the 35mm camera, otherworldly scenes and a dazzling soundtrack by Pierre Desprats. » Elina Lowensohn, Vimala Pons, Agata Buzek& Paola Luna.
