The elements of the judicial police of the security of Daira de Boutheldja incapacitated a criminal accused in five burglary cases.
The respondent was arrested thanks to the description and information provided by the victims as this criminal was preparing for another burglary.
The burglar operated whenever the atmospheric conditions deteriorated in this agglomeration housing more than thirty thousand souls.
Presented before the investigating magistrate, he was placed on a committal order by the public prosecutor of the court of El Tarf.
Another gang was arrested the same week by police officers from Ben Mhidi, a town less than twenty kilometers from Annaba.
He is a youngster of the third age from the municipality of “Lake of the Birds” in the Daira of Bouteldja. The gang has been pinned down for selling psychotropic drugs and possessing bladed weapons.
To do this, he exposed his poison to customers in the city of Ben Mhidi in the wilaya of El Tarf. At the time of his arrest, police officers on duty seized 769 psychotropic tablets and 12 vials of liquid hallucinogens and a sum of money.
This sum of money would be the fruit of the sale of this poison to young people unconscious and in desperation.
Taken to the police station, the defendant was interviewed then the judicial police officer drew up a report against him to which the exhibits were attached. In view of the grievances against him, the Drean court prosecutor placed him on a committal pending trial on his other case.
Finally, the El Kala daira security police have not been idle during this week. They dealt with several cases, theft, detention of psychotropic drugs, beatings and injuries etc.
The last case dealt with concerns the neutralization of a gang of criminals made up of two people, including a woman, who also specialized in the burglary of several houses whose owners are generally absent or traveling.
The police acted in this case, according to the communications officer, on a complaint lodged with the police station.
During the interrogation, it turned out that this tape is not at its first forfeit since during the search carried out in their homes several stolen appliances were found.
The defendants were imprisoned in the civil prison of El Kala after constitution of a judicial file.
