El Salvador’s Ministry of Education suspended classes for another day due to the passage of tropical storm Julia across the country.
On the Twitter social network account, @ EducaciónSV, the Government announced that “the suspension of face-to-face and virtual lessons is extended for Tuesday 11 October, the measure applies to students, teachers and administrative staff of public and private educational centers” .

Environment and Natural Resources (MARN) Minister Fernando López warned of the likelihood of floods, rising rivers, overflows, debris flows, falling trees, advertising elements and public lighting in the next 24 and 48 hours.
