This Sunday afternoon, the El Salvador Band performed the second concert of the 2024 national tour in the central park of Santa Ana, with the performance of more than 15 musical pieces, including classical music and songs by Salvadoran composers.
The musical director of the Banda El Salvador, David Pimentel, highlighted that young musicians from all departments of the country have been included in the formation of the band. “The band is a concept of complete inclusion, from 11 years old to 24 and is made up of children from public and private schools,” he said.
During the presentation of the marching band, made up of 600 talented young people, hundreds of Santanecos enjoyed each of the musical pieces.
“El Salvador deserves that the good things stay for us,” highlighted the band’s musical director, David Pimentel, who assured that this project is part of President Nayib Bukele Ortez’s vision for the comprehensive development of children and youth. .
The national tour of the Banda El Salvador began on Saturday, February 10, in Sonsonate, and will continue to develop during the coming weekends, so it is planned that on Saturday the 17th they will perform in San Miguel and on Sunday the 18th, in San Francisco Gotera, Morazán.
