The man arrested for the Garrido shooting registered at the end of last August, in which a 51-year-old man died and a 53-year-old woman who remains in critical condition was injured, has resorted to being transferred to another prison. The defense of Emilio DY, 32 years old and a resident of Salamanca although he is originally from Plasencia (Cáceres), filed an appeal against the decision in the last hours of the judge who is handling the case and who showed no objection to the march of the alleged murderer to another jail, as requested by Penitentiary Institutions.
