Step- Amid a festive and patriotic atmosphere, the El Paso Trolley marked its return with free rides, live music on board and storytelling throughout Saturday, July 3.
The El Paso Trolley provided free service from 4 p.m. to midnight so that El Paso residents could explore the attractions of the downtown and uptown areas.
The “Read & Ride” event, organized by the El Paso Public Library, promoted reading during the trolley rides where passengers listened to different patriotic children’s books.
Meanwhile, music lovers enjoyed “Trolley Tracks”, with the presentation of live musicians in an event coordinated by the City of El Paso and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Museums.
It is expected that in autumn the El Paso Tram service will return normally, on its different routes.
