El Paso attorney murder case remains open

The murder of an El Paso attorney and the violent attack on her husband remain open. Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in solving this murder through the “Crime of the Week” program.

On the night of Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 7:35 p.m., an unidentified man broke into Georgette and Daniel Kaufman’s home in the 3000 block of Copper, in the Manhattan Heights neighborhood, in the Central area of Step.

The attacker was armed with a pistol and shot Georgette Kaufman, 50, several times.

The suspect also shot 48-year-old Daniel Kaufman. Georgette Kaufman did not survive her injuries. Daniel Kaufman was injured and taken to hospital. Disclosure of additional information is not possible due to active investigation.

The suspect is a white male, 5’10 “to 6’0” tall, with a slim build. The man involved was possibly bald and wearing dark clothing on the day of the murder.
