El Museo de la Emigracin Leonesa celebrates this Saturday various Carnival activities for children
The Leonese Emigration Museum will open its doors this Saturday, February 18, to celebrate a Mask Party and a Mask Workshop and a Great Mask Ball and celebrate the dates of Carnival. These are two events organized by its Cultural Action Department with children as protagonists. In the first pass, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the participants will be children from 8 to 11 years old, who will enjoy a Mask Party and a Masks Workshop.
The participating children will have the opportunity to rehearse a choreography and record a video clip, in the historic hall of La Casona, headquarters of the MeL.
For the little ones, from 5 to 8 years old, there will be another appointment scheduled that same morning from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. It will be time for the Grand Masquerade Ball. Everyone will make their own masks and will be led up the steps of the Museum, from where they will be able to access the Masquerade Ball in the style of classic tales.
