El Mitma adapts the Camino de Santiago App with recommendations for the prevention of Covid-19 | Radio Palencia | Present

The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), through the National Geographic Institute and the National Geographic Information Center has updated the tourist display Nature, Culture and Leisure and has released a new version of the APP Camino Santiagor, available for operating systems Android e iOS, in which it incorporates information on the new situation of the Camino and a series of recommendations for pilgrims to prevent risks from COVID19 and make the journey safely.

The Committee of the Jacobean Council has highlighted the importance of offering pilgrims information about the new situation of the Camino de Santiago during the health crisis. For this reason, driven by the Jacobean Council, an infographic has been created in which pilgrims have information on the necessary measures to prevent risks from COVID-19 during the Camino. To bring this information of interest to pilgrims, the Nature, Culture and Leisure viewer has incorporated this infographic as well as information on the hostels on the Camino de Santiago with the capacity of this year and the link to the detailed page with more information about the Spanish Federation of Associations of the Camino de Santiago.
