The town of El Maderal has been without a television signal for 5 days. This has been denounced by the municipal spokesman for the PSOE in El Maderal, Juan Luis Martín. A problem that, as the mayor relates, “is not new because it has been occurring intermittently and repeatedly for years as a result of the technical deficiencies of the repeater property of the El Maderal City Council ”.
Juan Luis Martin denounces “the discomfort of the residents of El Maderal who have been without television for 5 days on dates when, in addition to the intense cold, the recommendation is to stay at home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, to which no the impossibility of accessing one of the main entertainment such as television programming contributes ”. The PSOE spokesman adds that “the residents of El Maderal also suffer repeated problems of access to the internet and mobile telephony, sometimes due to its slowness in others because it is saturated, the truth is that this situation is difficult to understand in the middle of the century XXI in the era of communications before the most absolute municipal passivity ”.
Juan Luis Martín asks the Government team that “in anticipation of the next fiber optic installation in El Maderal, the City Council adopt the necessary measures to, in parallel, resolve all current deficiencies related to the reception of DTT signal, internet and mobile telephony ”.
