Legia Warszawa starts qualifying for the Champions League with the first round match, and the opponent of the Polish champions will be the winner of the games in Northern Ireland, i.e. Linfield FC from Belfast. There are no rematch in this edition of the Champions League, so only one match will determine the promotion. Legia is the absolute favorite of the match against Linfield, especially that the match will be played at the facility at Łazienkowska Street.
Legia Warszawa officially inaugurated the 2020/2021 season with the match 1/32 of the Fortuna of the Polish Cup. The military defeated GKS 6: 1 in Bełchatów and advanced to the next round.
– We are looking ahead, on Tuesday at our stadium a very important match, in which we have no right to play below our capabilities and on which we must concentrate now.
