The 15th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show, held from October 1 to 6, attracted nearly 200,000 visitors, said Show commissioner El Habib Merzak on Sunday.
In a statement to the press on the occasion of the closing of this edition, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Mr. Merzak underlined that the Show saw the participation of more than 40 countries, with more of 700 riders and nearly 1,000 horses of different breeds, noting that the success of this edition is the result of the combined efforts of the various stakeholders and partners.
He maintained that the Show, which has become a platform for meetings and exchanges of experiences, was also marked by the organization of several institutional and professional meetings, which resulted in the signing of numerous partnership and cooperation agreements between various actors, both in Morocco and internationally, adding that the 15th edition was also distinguished by the high level of competitions and exhibition spaces.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on Saturday, the final of the 7th edition of the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Tbourida, organized as part of the 15th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show.
Organized by the Association du Salon du Cheval, this event has become an essential platform for meetings and exchanges between the different players in the equestrian sector. It highlights the rich cultural heritage of horse riding in Morocco and the various uses of horses in the sporting, cultural and festive fields.
