El Bilal Touré moves to Atalanta for a fixed €28M plus €3M in goals
Darwin Nuñéz is no longer the most expensive sale in Almería’s history. The new owner of that ‘statute’ is the Malian striker El Bilal Touré, who this Saturday saw his transfer to Atalanta confirmed, in exchange for 28 million euros fixed, plus 3 million euros in variables. A record sum that enters the Spanish club’s coffers, which exceeds the 24 million initially allocated three years ago with the sale of Darwin to Benfica. Darwin’s deal would even earn a few more millions for the Spaniards, through the sale to Liverpool, which yielded another 10M €, but for history as the most expensive sale, this one is now led by Touré.
This transfer, it should be noted, paves the way for another, since, having hired the Malian striker, Atalanta already has in its ranks a possible successor to Rasmus Hojlund, a striker long desired by Manchester United.
