El Al’s falafel patrol

El Al Airlines, in collaboration with Keshet 12 and the ‘Falafel Bariwa’ chain, established the “Falafel Patrol” which went through aid and assembly centers throughout the country, accompanied by artists and actors, and provided thousands of servings of the most Israeli food available, to soldiers and servicewomen, to the security and rescue forces, to the wounded and evacuees. This is what the CEO of El Al, Dina Ben Tal Ganansia, reveals in an update letter to the company’s employees.

El Al published a patriotic video, which expresses El Al’s deep connection to the national mission and salutes the IDF, the security and rescue forces and all those who returned to Israel in order to protect the home. The link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ0m1pVe- WY

This project is in addition to flights bringing essential equipment to Israel. Last week, a Dreamliner plane took off from New York with medical equipment and equipment for IDF soldiers on board, funded by the Phoenix Group, and the “Pillars” organization, in collaboration with El Al. On this flight, the pictures and names of the missing and kidnapped were attached to the empty flight seats, as a symbol and hope for their return to Israel soon.

Dina writes further: “I am very proud of the El Al people in the air and on the ground who, together with other bodies in the country, took part in the gesture, the result of an initiative by the Headquarters of the Kidnapped and Missing Persons, they turned on the light on our flights and in Israel and sang the anthem ‘Hatikva’ to mark the resilience of the people of Israel and identify with the kidnapped and the missing”
