EKWB Introduces New Direct Die Cooling Blocks for AMD Ryzen 7000 and Intel Core 14th Gen Processors – Better Performance, Lower Temperatures!

The latest processors such as series AMD Ryzen 7000 Whether 14th generation Intel Core offer top performance in games and programs. All thanks to the large number of cores and threads and high clock speeds. Unfortunately, this also means high power consumption and therefore high temperatures.

The new blocks offer better performance and easier installation

That’s why many consumers use third-party cooling solutions, and ready-made liquid cooling systems are becoming more and more popular. However, it can always be better (and more expensive), and we are talking about direct die cooling. This is a risky operation that involves removing the IHS and exposing the silicon core.

In recent days EK Water Blocks, one of the few remaining manufacturers in Europe, announced the introduction of new water blocks to its offer. They were created with nests in mind Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5and their use will require an extensive liquid cooling system.

This is the next generation from EKWB, the first for the Blue CPU debuted last year. But this time it was done a number of fixes and improvementsso as to offer even lower temperatures. Moreover, the block now rests on the four corner points, not the core, so it’s harder to damage the processor.

People who purchased the original LGA1700 Velocity² Direct Die last year can contact EKWB in order to obtain new, improved elements free of charge and a 15% discount on the purchase of the second generation. In case of further dissatisfaction, a full refund is also possible.

The manufacturer did not reveal the exact specifications, suggested prices or release date of the new solutions. The published photos only show that we will get RGB LED backlighting and a nickel-plated base. More details will probably be revealed around the fair Computex 2024 at the beginning of June.
