In the 33rd round of PKO Ekstraklasa Jagiellonia played with Lechia Gdańsk. The match ended with a 2: 1 result for the team from Gdansk, which practically crossed Yaga’s chances of being promoted to eliminate the Europa League.
After the match, the players approached the fans to thank them for cheering. But when they were going down to the locker room, indecent words flew towards them. They came from people from a VIP box rented by one of the companies.
The whole situation was to be reassured by the captain of Jagiellonia, Taras Romańczuk, who in consequence suffered the most. “What the fuck are you playing?”, “What kind of Pole are you?” – heard the player who has performed in the Polish national team. An enraged Romańczuk wanted to move to the VIP stand, but the intervention of Maciej Makuszewski and the team manager meant that there was no fight.
The company that manages the stadium has already issued a communication on this matter. “What happened today in the VIP lounges should never happen! The police know the subject, and the video materials have been secured. The company that rents one of the lounges has announced very severe consequences,” it was written.
