EKPA: Event for the solidarity brigades in Cuba – Young people describe what they experienced – 2024-03-02 23:25:45

An event that is expected to attract great interest is being held at the Faculty of Law of EKPA, as many young people will share their experiences of the trip they made to Cuba in order to work and show their solidarity. Specifically, the event is organized by “Jose Marti” Cultural Association and participants will share their experiences from the two expeditions organized in July and December 2023. Here is the full announcement from the organizers:

«Let’s talk about the solidarity brigades in Cuba. We will share what we saw and what we learned from our participation in the last two missions in July and December 2023.

We will talk about the current situation in Cuba, the difficulties, the contradictions and the great achievements, and we will highlight a series of specific topics based on the seminars and lectures we attended at the International Camp “Julio Antonio Megia” (CIJAM). We will have prepared a photo exhibition and tell stories about the people we met and the places we visited.

Finally, information about the next brigades will be announced. Our goal is for the next missions from Greece to be even more massive and to strengthen the solidarity movement demanding the lifting of the US criminal blockade against Cuba.
