Ejidatarios of Tizayuca expressed their disagreement over the delivery of 40 hectares after it was announced that Mayor Susana Ángeles Quezada intends to sign an agreement with the Tolcayuca administration to cede the lands.
The head of the ejido commissariat, Modesto García Salinas, mentioned that the union members have the necessary documentation to maintain that the transfer of 1,600 thousand 37 square meters to the neighboring demarcation is unjustifiable, since they presumably have the property title of the area in dispute.
He pointed out that they require a work table with Ángeles Quezada, so that the mayor’s office can expose the official documentation they have in their possession and contrast with that of the landowners, which dates from 1926, when the ejidal nucleus was formed.
He argued that they will request to meet with the mayor the following Monday to start a dialogue, through which he will seek agreements to avoid a problem.
He added that last week they held a work table with council members at the communal commissariat’s facilities, in which they did not reach any agreement.
On June 22, Criterio published that Ángeles Quezada explained her proposal on the territorial limits with Tolcayuca after the opposition of the ejidal commissariat to the planning of the city council.
The mayor explained that the project is to make an agreement with the neighboring municipality to guarantee legal certainty to the inhabitants of the town of Los Ángeles and the Andalusia subdivision, owned by the Cesvi construction company.
It does not affect, they say
- According to Ángeles Quezada, the signing of the pact will not affect the ejido nuclei because the interparcelar delimitation may converge with other localities, such as Huitzila, where a sector of the ejido belongs to Temascalapa, State of Mexico.
