Frankfurt/Main – Eintracht Frankfurt is allowed to let 10,000 spectators into the stadium in the home games of the Bundesliga against VfL Wolfsburg and FC Bayern Munich.

The club announced this on Friday and referred to a corresponding decision by the state chancellery.

The prerequisite for the new Hessian Corona Protection Ordinance, which will come into force next week, is the 2G-plus regulation. Eintracht will play Wolfsburg on February 12 and defending champions FC Bayern Munich on February 26. This Saturday (3.30 p.m. / Sky) the team of coach Oliver Glasner will play at VfB Stuttgart – also in front of 10,000 visitors.

The nationwide regulation will not be implemented everywhere this weekend, causing trouble for other clubs. Frankfurt lost 2-0 to Arminia Bielefeld in front of just 1,000 fans.
