7th minute: Nkounkou hits a flat cross from the left right at the ex-Dortmunder’s foot. Knauff stays cool and gives Frankfurt an early lead.
Nkounkou prepares Eintracht’s third goal in a row. The Frenchman had already scored the two late goals in the comeback win against Gladbach (2-1).
The early deficit allows the people of Leipzig to gradually awaken from their hibernation. RB is pushing for the equalizer, but struggles for a long time against Frankfurt’s deep position.
