Eintracht Frankfurt is pushing ahead with planning for the coming season. A shooting star is apparently facing an uncertain future – and could become a bargain.
Update from Monday, May 24th, 2021, 7:20 a.m .: Eintracht Frankfurt will not take the purchase option from Amin Younes for the time being. “The purchase option can be drawn within the loan period. But it makes no sense to pull it now because the player would actually only belong to us from July 1, 2022 ”, explained SGE CFO Oliver Frankenbach.
Frankenbach added: “The player feels good, and we feel good with the player.” Younes is currently still on loan from SSC Napoli to the Main.
First report from Thursday, May 20th, 2021, 4.30 p.m .: Frankfurt – Eintracht Frankfurt has almost had a very successful season, although not a historic one. The club’s first entry into the Champions League was gambled away in the last few meters of the season, for example due to a defeat at FC Schalke 04.
One player who has made a significant contribution to the success of the SGE through a big leap in performance is Amin Younes. The 27-year-old is on loan from SSC Napoli to Eintracht for two years. In other words: Younes should stay on the Main until summer 2022. Most recently, the 1.68 meter tall dribbler had to accept a bitter disappointment. National coach Joachim Löw did without him in the nomination for the EM 2021.
Eintracht Frankfurt: Was plant Amin Younes?
Despite this setback, Amin Younes was able to draw attention to himself through his performance, despite the fact that Löw did not call. Among other things, there are currently transfer rumors about the number 32 from Eintracht Frankfurt. For example, the Bild newspaper claims to have learned from the player’s agent that Younes should deal with a farewell to Frankfurt. The consultant is talking to associations from the Arab region, including Dubai.
According to information from the news portal Spox.com, this rumor is not true. This is also confirmed by a statement by Younes to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung a few weeks ago. At that time he said: “I have found my port.”

Eintracht Frankfurt: Younes would be a real bargain
Instead, according to the news portal Spox, Younes is planning his future on the Main. Eintracht has a purchase option for the attacking midfielder. This is between two to three million euros, i.e. within the financially feasible range of the SBU. Given Younes’ market appreciation, that even seems like a bargain, according to the report. According to the online portal Transfermarkt.de, this is currently ten million euros. The option to buy could theoretically be drawn this summer. However, it is unclear what the transfer planning of the new sports director Markus Krösche will look like. However, his plans are already underway: Krösche recently piloted a jewel from RB Leipzig to the Main.
Younes recently caused a stir with a social media post about the Middle East conflict. The association commented on it. (do)
