Eintracht Frankfurt loses Marc Wachs, the captain of the U21 team in the Regionalliga Südwest. The 28-year-old is moving to Kickers Offenbach.
Frankfurt/Offenbach – Eintracht Frankfurt’s U21s have had a very decent season in the Regionalliga Südwest so far. After being promoted from the Hessenliga last season, the SGE’s second team is in seventh place and has long since reached a league higher. In the second half of the season, head coach Kristjan Glibo’s team wants to continue to inspire and be successful.
Eintracht Frankfurt leaving for Offenbach
But Marc Wachs will no longer be there. The U21 captain has terminated his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt and is leaving the Adler. His working paper would actually have run until June 30, 2024, but the midfielder expressed his wish to be able to leave the club early. The 28-year-old’s new employer is Kickers Offenbach.
“With Marc Wachs we are getting a central midfielder who will strengthen our squad with his footballing quality as well as his mentality and attitude,” said Christian Hock, sports director of Kickers Offenbach, about the new signing from Eintracht Frankfurt, who will be available from June 2020 He is under contract with the OFC on January 1, 2024.

Marc Wachs himself is looking forward to his new task: “The OFC is a club with absolutely goosebumps. I’m very happy to be able to play for him. The discussions with Christian Neidhart and Christian Hock were very good, we are pursuing the same goals.”
