Jakic with concussion
Eintracht defender Kristijan Jakic suffered a head injury in the playoff second leg against Levski Sofia and is unlikely to be available to the Hessians for the time being. “He suffered a concussion and a laceration,” reported Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller after the 2-0 win on Thursday evening, through which the Hessians reached the group stage in the Conference League.
Jakic had already collided with his team-mate William Pacho in the 13th minute. After a short treatment, the Croatian continued playing before he had to leave the field after half an hour in a daze. The 26-year-old will probably miss the Bundesliga game against 1. FC Köln at least on Sunday.
