The famous Swedish rap artist Einár was buried at Katarina church on Sødermalm in Stockholm on Friday. 450 people were present to say a final goodbye to Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg, writes Expressen.

Several other public figures are buried in the cemetery.

According to Expressen, the songs “Kolla mig i oogonen” and “Lilla Nisse”, which are songs Einár has not released, were played at the funeral.

Einár grew up in Enskededalen in the southern part of Stockholm, and in 2019 he made a big impression under his artist name with the song “Katten i trakten” when he was 16 years old, according to Aftonbladet. On the streaming platform Spotify he has under his artist name his nearly 1.5 million monthly listeners.

Late Thursday night, October 21, the rap artist Einár, shot and killed in Hammarby south of Stockholm, in what witnesses referred to as a pure execution.

The 19-year-old’s mother has previously written the following on Instagram:

– We in Nils’ large family, are grateful to everyone who joins us in love and fellowship, she writes in the introduction.

Furthermore, she writes, among other things, “Nils we love you so much” and ends the post with a quote from her son’s song “Young people with extra energy”: “And as you said… if God wants them to be good now, they will be good now”.
