Because there the superstar of the Olympic Games in Beijing proved that she is not only acrobatic in the “Big Pipe” with skis on her feet – but that she is also really fast in running shoes!
Eileen Gu runs a half marathon in 100 minutes
Eileen Gu was really fast on the hilly streets of her hometown of San Francisco. At 1:40.51 hours, it was just a hair’s breadth over the demanding 100-minute mark over the 21.0975 kilometers.
“I only landed here 36 hours ago and registered spontaneously. But from mile 7 (11 kilometers, editor’s note) I was seized by the sporting spirit – and I wanted to see what was possible,” wrote Eileen Gu.
